Extract from draft minutes of the 179th Meeting, held on 18.5.50.
33. In the afternoon MISS GWILLIAM reported to the Committee on her recent visit to the Pacific and South East Asia. Her own versi n of her talk, which covered Fiji, Tonga, British Solomon Islands Protectorate, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Federation of Malaya, is circulated as an annexe to these minutes. As there was not time for Miss Gwilliam to give her impressions of her visits to Brunei and Sarawak, she agreed to speak about these two territories at the Committee's next meeting.
34. The Committee then adjourned,
after the Chairman and members of the Committee had expressed their warm apprecia- tion of Miss Gwilliam's talk.
